Preferred Supplier Lists …. (PSL) ..Part II

…….I thought I’d outline the relationships between the 4 layers I mentioned earlier i.e.

The Hiring Manager
Human Resources
The Recruitment Agencies
The Candidate

6 relationships all in all (if you accept the bi-lateral nature of each).  I don’t intend to try and deal with each relationship in a huge amount of detail, to me it would be pointless as [...]

Preferred Supplier Lists …. (PSL)

I’ve been toying with an idea to do with the PSL for some years now, but have never really done that much about it. This however will be the first time I’ve actually written the idea down. Perhaps I shouldn’t be doing this in such a public fashion, however it may focus my [...]

Your Money or Your Life ……………………….

Take a look at this Daily Mail Article. I’ve put it up on the rolling news on KCR.
I think this is a very well written piece with many positive sentiments about the whole fear around Kidney Cancer. This is one of those uplifting stories that helps us all.

John Mayer Belief……

Possibly my favourite track for some while. I watched this back in March when I was in hospital, one of the best of guitarist’s I’ve heard in ages, very understated. The quality of this recording isn’t the best , but I’d recommend his latest album Consortium.

Electro Cubism ….

I was reading this month’s edition of Sound on Sound (SOS) yesterday and came across these new illuminated Cubes. Basically some chap from Belgium has developed these advanced MIDI controllers as a new musical instrument aimed at the electronic music market.
As a stage/gig gimmic I think they’ll be great and I can see that [...]

Compulsory Scans?…………….

It’s so sad when I see that yet another person has died from Kidney Cancer because they’ve been denied a drug due to cost. Check out this news article what Price life?
I know I know ….the PCTs and SMCs (Scottish equivalent) have to make hard decisions, and cost is a part of [...]

Finally an excuse…..

I was sent this article by a colleague at work today, now I’m not sure how to take it, was he calling me slightly podgy despite all the cycling and training I do? Me thinks that may have been the case. For sure I now have the perfect answer when anyone says my [...]

Still can’t find the ultimate Gadgit…..

Clearly I want an iPhone, but only beacuse it’s OSX, however this YouTube

I’m seeking a device that has this functionality:
A phone with Internet and wireless features
A 5 -10megapixel camera
iPod that enables me to store ALL my music (not just 4 -8GB). I can’t be bothered setting [...]
